iFair Visit

Local high school, Washington High School of Information Technology hosted an iFair at Harley Davidson University last Wednesday (4/11). BMES was proud to represent the College of Engineering, and the University at the event, which is geared towards exposing middle school students in the MPS school system to different opportunities within information technology and engineering for high school, college, and careers after school. Hasan Barakat and Nicole deGuzman attended the event, and showed off the DIY ECG Arduino project, 3D printing, and how all these technologies are used to help medical professionals. The kids were quite impressive and interested in discovering new technology, and a few even volunteered to hook themselves up to the ECG! Hasan and Nicole had a great time showing off BMES and all of its accomplishments!
