Orthopedic Surgeon Visit

On Monday (4/16), Dr. Tim Morton, an Orthopedic Surgeon from Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin, came to BMES. He spoke about medical school and his path, his career, his current job, and how he uses medical devices in his work. He also discussed how much his field has changed and how many improvements have been made due to better medical devices and technology, and gave his opinion on things to consider when designing and creating a device for doctors. Additionally, Dr. Morton gave advice about tips for getting into medical school and making the most of a residency. Special thanks to Dr. Morton for taking time out of his schedule to be with BMES and answer all of our questions, and thank you to everyone who attended!
