Biomed Bootcamp Update!

BMES's Biomed Bootcamp series is just over half way done for the semester! This 4 week long event provides STEM curriculum to high school students, that ultimately ends with the students creating their own ECG system using the Raspberry Pi Tops.

This year, BMES is partnering with the high school students HAPA, the Hmong American Peace Academy. These students have been incredible so far, and BMES is looking forward to the last few sessions coming soon!

BMES is also partnering with the McGinnity Family Foundation, who is providing BMES with a grant which allows us to run the Biomed Bootcamp event this semester. A huge thanks to the McGinnity Family Foundation, as our main outreach event would not be possible without their support!

A final thank you to the coordinators, our very own Megan Socha and Natalie Waltz, and all the BMES volunteers who have participated in Biomed Bootcamp so far! BMES greatly appreciates you coming out to inspire more students about STEM.
